Devizes PCN has some exciting news, our Social Prescriber has recently set up a ‘Public Living room’ in Devizes.
This fantastic Friday event made the Camerados recent newsletter. Camerados are a fantastic group who energise individuals with a powerful social movement, it was their idea to set up a ‘public living room’ and so this is what our Devizes PCN social prescriber has done.
This is a fantastic oppurtunity to encourage our patients to be more confident out of their homes and in the community.
Using the ‘grassy area at the Wharf on a Friday afternoon, our social prescriber has set up a ‘public living room’.
There will be teas/coffees and biscuits available and it is simply a positive, friendly atmosphere where all can come along and have a chat and a biscuit in great company. Very simple and very kind.
